What's inside the Lilienthal XE

The Lilienthal XE carbon rim features 3mm broad rim flanges, which offer the ideal support surface to protect tire and tube from damage and punctures. A special cushioning foam inside the rim minimizes vibration and noise emissions and therefore maximizes riding comfort.

The ERD

The ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) is a measurement for the calculation of spoke lengths. This can be measured and specified differently (nipple bearing surface, nipple slot, nipple head). We specify the nipple slot ERD, thereby the spokes end at the height of the nipple slot and allow a high stability of the wheel.
